TSG manages the majority of our website projects usign different Content Management Engines. This has the advangage of allowing you, the customer, to add and update pages whenever you like. Once we build a Content Management based site, you can simply edit pages with a web-based text editor that lets you control all of the features and content. Most of our work here becomes installing and configuring the Content Managment Engine to fit your specific needs. We prefer to using Typo3 if you have a large corporate website project in mind. For dynamic, information-rich sites that encourage interaction and documentation writing, how about a Wiki? We use the Bitweaver system for providing rich sites with Wiki's, Blogs, Forums, Shopping Carts, as well as custom software packages. If you would prefer a community portal-style site, we can implement a PostNuke solution for you.
All of these different Content Management Engine based sites come with a
database-driven backend, on either MySQL or PostgreSQL. This means that all
of the content you enter can always be repurposed, and you won't have to put
your pages in a second time if you redesign the look and feel of your website.
Prices vary from project to project, so please email for a quote but a typical
corporate site or multi-function site will cost about $500 including custom design
and implementation. PostNuke community sites that enable posting news and
events with a custom theme are only $350, and a personal Blog with a stock
theme is just $100.
These prices include training on whichever software packages we implement for
you. Also, since we maintain our own servers, we have total control over databases, backups, and other configuration specifics. This helps us provide any features you might need built into your internet project.
Custom software packages can be written in PHP to add any feature you might need.
We also have web-content specialists on staff who can write the entire copy of your site, no matter how large or small.
All content development or custom proramming beyond design and implementation of a Content Management Engine will be quoted separately.
